Swallowtail with Watercolor Wash

Happy Monday to you all!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend and were able to do all the things you wanted to do!  My sister-in-law came for a visit and we had fun going to a favorite swimming hole, taking a spin class and enjoying a cup of coffee (or chai for me).  We had a blast playing CORN HOLE and eating homemade banana ice cream!  It was a wonderfully relaxing weekend!

Last Wednesday I shared a card that we made in my July workshops.  Today's card is where that card started...but I couldn't quite get it where I wanted it to be to use in the class.
I used the Watercolor Wash stamp set to make the background using Bermuda Bay and Pear Pizzazz ink and then I stamped the Swallowtail stamp in the upper corner, stamping it off the paper (using Memento Black ink).  That is where I stopped!  I just didn't like it.  This morning...I gave it another look.  I added a sentiment from the Basic Butterflies stamp set and another butterfly that I cut out with the Butterflies thinlit.  Of course I had to adorn it with a little bit of bling so I added some Basic Rhinestones.  There you have it...another simple but beautiful card!

Thanks bunches for stopping by!  I LOVE what I do...and LOVE being able to share it with all of you!  Have a GREAT rest of your day!  See ya tomorrow!!

“This is my report on how to live.
They say the best way is just to live one day at a time. If you try to live seven days at a time, the week will be over before you know it!”
